During Copper Harbor Trails Festival Weekend 2022, we had the opportunity to shred with James. A few weeks later James tragically passed away in lower Michigan following a mountain bike accident. James's amazing wife Stephanie started a foundation in his name. Mountain biking was his passion and the goal of the foundation is to keep James’s legacy alive. The foundation would also like to sponsor races in James’s name, raise funds for the foundation, to help youth racers, promote safety, help preserve trails, and complete James’s dream of having a team.
